Sanyo Z4

well been offer`at 2999 for sanyo Z4 well bro..is it a bargain buy??

As i was hunting for a projector for the last 2 mths, this Z4 is one of my choices of 720p. It was S$3499(+/-$50) then at hawko.

 

It is quite an impressive projector based on the specs, i would rank it in the following order for the S$3500 range based on specification and capabilities:

 

1. Sanyo Z4

2. Mitsuibitsui HD 3100

3. Infocus IN76

 

If based on auditioned performance, i've not been able to see this Z4, but i've seen the other 2.

 

1. Mitsuibitsui HD 3100 (on par with HD1100)

2. Infocus IN76

3. Z4???

 

Maybe we can go see see look look, and bargain for a good price together. If keen, pm me. I'll be buying this sunday - highly likely.

Why not consider Optoma HD70 is alos a native 720p which is cheaper than those listed. cmk has it why not check with him while for me waiting for the delivery of my Mit HD1000U from vpostUSA, also a native 720p. You could check on avsforum on that.  ;)

well currently hold my horse as there are a few projectors coming out...will be viewing more unit..

I saw the sanyo z4 demo last week at a new shop name anson audio in adelphi #01-19. Looks really great selling at 2850 but not sure they still have stock.

I went to shop again today in the afternoon the sanyo was gone but with the new model panny ax100 selling quite cheap at 2700. But to my views, i find z4 better.

Maybe u can have a look there.

Heard from Sanyo that they are dropping the Z4 to $2100 during the Sanyo soft launch of the Z5.

 

The Z5 will retail at $2999.
