Sorry guys. Long time no post and not sure if this is the right place to seek help. I have this problem of image turning greenish especially the faces.

My DVD player is a Toshiba (>6yrs) and the AVR is Denon 2105. I replaced the DVD player with a new one and a new set of component cables (1m) but the problem persisted. The first hour or so the pics quality looks good then it started turning greenish. Any bros and sis can assist me? Thank you.

Connect your DVD player directly  to your display instead of going thru' your Denon AV receiver. If the problem persists, it's your display that is faulty. If problem is gone, then it should be your Denon receiver.

But IMHO, the display has a higher chance of being faulty than the receiver.  ;)

Thanks Pcking. I played the DVD disc on my Sharp's DVD Recorder which is also connected (Component Video In) to the same Denon AVR 2105 without problem. Now, I am wondering if the Component Video Out of the receiver which is directly connected to the Toshiba DVD player is causing the greenish image.

Anyway, I will try out what you suggested and narrow down the real cause of the problem. Thanks again :)

Bro. Just swop the component cables currently connected to your Sharp Recorder to your Toshiba DVD player & U should be able to nail down your problem.  ;D
