HI there,

I'm not actually a big gamer so my question might seems stupid. Will appreciate if anyone can share his/her knowledge.

In the past I was told that if any player in Singapore wanted to register the game on the website (ie, create account) , he/she would need to follow some special procedures/tricks because the account creation process wasn't available to players in S'pore. And after the creation of account, the player had to mask his/her ip address when playing the game online. This is to prevent the US side from finding out the player's location. Now I heard that we do not have to worry about all these problems anymore because the US site has made account creation available to S'pore. I wonder if this true or not?

Thanks in advance. :)

not sure abt the new registration procedure now (if there's any), remember when i was creating my account 2 yrs back, i have to use some US address for the registration, cos they only accepted US address at that time.  but i never bother to mask my ip or anything special for playing the game.

since blizzard has officially released the game in singapore, i guess they should accept singapore address for the registration now =)

same experience as adeng. i used my aus address for that when game first came out. they don't do any tallying vs the credit card address, or track IP.

You dont have to go through all those 'hiding' or 'masking' anymore. Just register as per normal...
