BCCL Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hi Every SVS's Fans, Recently, I've heard a subwoofer from Paradigm, Servo-15 v2, it's a very outstanding woofer. It sounds harmonics and its bass goes deep and tight. You can say it's excellent for both music and movie... On the other hands, I also read many positive reviews of PB12+/2 on internet, both its performance and bargaining price. However, this product can ONLY be purchased via internet and cannot be tested. I then really need some input to help me getting out from this BIG question mark?? PLEASE... ??? All inputs are welcomed!!!! Thx, BCCL
BCCL Posted October 17, 2006 Author Posted October 17, 2006 Nobody gotta give me any comment about this?? I suppose you all have very good experience in SVS's products... This surprised me a bit and also let me down...
Jag Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Servo-15 will not deliver as much SPLs as the PB12+/2. Because of the servo circuits in the S-15, the sound from the S-15 is clean and undistorted. But because of this, Servo-15 will not be as loud as the SVS. This is important in a large HT room or if used in the living room. Both are pretty good subs, but I think the S-15 may be better for smaller room (because of lesser SPL).
basspundit Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 How much is the servo 15? Looks interesting
BCCL Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 The retail price is US$2200. It's relatively expensive when comparing to PB12+/2... Any other comments??

Wolf1624705742 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I went to their store and asked about the VTF-3HO and was told to check again in Nov. I asked the price of thier VTF-3 MK2 and was quoted $1600 for black and $19++ for other colors. I do not think they will sell VTF-3HO for $1600 only
