HT102 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 According to the NEA website, the situtation in the East should be not as bad, but its really quite bad over here in Tampines... :( According to the website, the PSI is now 101 as at 8am. I also notice very poor visibility at my place, Bishan. :(
desray Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Better stay indoor and avoid rigoruous outdoor activities/exercises! My eyes are getting irritating now...Damn!
SiriuslyCold Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 what struck me at first was the ironic combination of the server name (app) and the domain (nea) (see Websters: apnea)
scoobydoo Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I think have to on the aircon and let the filter do the work, cleaning up the air in the house.... But then after this (hopefully this ends soon), have to clean the filter.
Darthfunk Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Omg its getting bad today visibility really poor!
desray Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Today woke up and I greeted by a clear blue sky - and no more unbearable 'burning smell' too :) What a beautiful day :)

BobaFett Posted October 16, 2006 Author Posted October 16, 2006 The site is down now. I think they paiseh to announce the PSI rating for today. The haze looks like 200+ now!
Guest tok_kong88 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 hkl, ma-chiam we're "gas-ed" big time... being "gas" & being "hazed", wat diff does it make anyway !
Spunky Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 where is the rain? it's normally rainy season before and during the deepavali!! ???
Guest tok_kong88 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 where is the rain? it's normally rainy season before and during the deepavali!! ??? rain only temp solution, haze will continue to haunt & come back. so long prices of palm oil & pulp remains high, land clearing by the cheapest/fastest way via burning will continue.. if u trace the entire value chain of this problem, everyone has a stake in it... high oil prices, mnc, gament, gament agencies, investors, consumers etc etc... imo all the gament talk is for show only as it will be ear in ear out, there's virtually no solution unless those prices i mentioned crashes perpetually but thereagain it will never happen... lppl :-X
desray Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 This morning wake up for a morning jog... A familiar 'smell' filled my lungs... Sigh, haze is back although slightly later this year due to the favors of the wind. Its inevitable. Time to turn in the air purifier or get one. Sent using Samsung Galaxy Note 7
