I don't recall any launch dates announced for Asia at all during any of the Sony announcements during E3.  Hence, I won't say that it's a delay for Asia since we already expect Asia to be at least 1 year late most of the time.  Will be gunning for the Jap or US set since both have the same region code for Bluray movie playback.  Heard that games region code has also been done away with but have yet to confirm this news.

Based on past experiences, Sony uses the term Austrailasia to define Australia and New Zealand only.  These territories like Europe are equipped with the PAL sets unlike Asia which is typically given the Jap NTSC sets with local power supply.  I would bet that regions like SEA and North Asia will only be provided local sets in the second half of next year.

only the PAL territories of Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and Australasia will have the revised launch date on March 2007 as previously annouched of 17th November 2006. Hopefully Asia(NTSC territories) launch date will be as planned.
