I've seen individual volumes in Mustafa's (of all places!) before.  Dunno whether it's R1, R2 or some other odd region though.

So far I've only seen the R2 version (comes in 4 vol) locally, but that set is not complete ...

This new releases seems to be a R1, wondering if it's the complete 4 season ed ...

This is the R2 release (a 4 disc set but is not complete), saw it in HMV before :

This 4 disc set should be the 2006 R1 release :

HC claimed to have a R3 5 disc version for rent, shall check it out :

There are only 21 episodes which were made first shown in UK from Mar 1979 till DEc 1979. With another 13 made in 1985.

The 70s series featured the Jap who always said "Asok" when spoken to and the China girl who always quoted from Chairman Mao's red book.

These 2 characters were absence from the 85 series.

I had watched season 1 from video tapes borrowed by relatives from British Council.

For those who want relive the good old times...

I have the above box set. Which other shd I buy so that the episodes that appear in this set wont be repeated?

I'm afraid that may not be possible ...

We've got the same boxset, so to complete the entire 4 seasons, we'll need the following :

Season 1 (ep9 : Kill Or Cure)

Season 2 (ep5 : Don't Forget The Driver)

Season 3 (ep5 : Guilty Or Not Guilty)

Season 4 (the entire 13 episodes)

What we can do is to wait for a boxset that is really complete (ie. the entire season 1-4) ...
