SiriuslyCold Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Weird Al Yankovic has a new CD coming out on Sept 26th, called "Straight Outta Lynwood" (Dualdisc with 5.1!!) and one of his songs called "You're Pitiful" making fun of guess who was supposed to be on that CD. Well, at the last minute he was told he doesn't have permission to release it on the CD. *bleah* So Weird Al is now making it available to all his fans on his website to download and listen to for free (oh, James will love that... ;) ). Just visit www.weirdal.com or visit Wierd Al's Myspace and listen to it right there
batdance Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 :D :D :D :D :DWeird Al.... You're pitiful James...... ;D ;D ;D But the song of the week will still be "mee siam mah hum"by Mr Brown.
armoury Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 To be fair, James Blunt was fine with it, it was his record company that wasn't happy about it and refused permission to Weird Al to release You're Pitiful. Once again showing that it's the damned record companies screwing things up.
SiriuslyCold Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 I'll bet more people hear the song now - as opposed to if it had been released on the album (how many people buy Wierd Al?)
Protocol1624705808 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I could only recall Eat it ... eat it ... Oh ... it's lunch time ... ;D

lewlian Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 The song had a decent playlife on my ipod and am not referring to Al's. :)
