Ok... In a bad situation now....

 

Ordered 5 DVDs from Amazon, have them sent to a hotel in Las Vegas. They broke it into 2 packages, 1st package send and delivered within 4 days (and over a weekend). 2nd package... Supposedly left the same package exit as the 1st package abit 1 day later, but after 1 week it still has not arrive. Suddenly, in the tracking, it says it delivered on 7 Aug 2 pm. However, when my friend ask the front desk of the hotel on 7 Aug evening, they told him there is no package awaiting for him. So he checked out on 8 Aug early morning; leaving instructions to reject the package....

 

Now... a) How on earth a package supposedly to delivered on 7 Aug 2 pm and yet the guest check with front desk and there is no package in the evening??!?!? b) How is the hotel going to reject a package that is already "delivered" c) How can 1 package be delivered within 4 days including over a weekend (which they don't work) and yet not able to deliver the next package within 1 week!?!??! d) Where the heck is the package now!??!?!

 

Most importantly.... HOW DO I GET MY REFUND FOR IT!??!?!?! I sent an email to Amazon, they reply with the standard email on the package being delivered on 7 Aug.. blah blah blah as per USPS's tracking info. Despite me saying in the email that it was not received!!!! How am I supposed to generate a return label when I don't even have the package to return!?!??! I sent an email to the hotel.... No reply....

 

HOW!??!?!? Anyone faces with this kind of issue before?!?!?! Any advice on how to deal with this!?!??!

 

Can I call credit card company to stop the payment of the 2nd package!?!?!?

 

HELP!!!!

Sounds to me like a dishonest employee in the hotel pinched the package.  Which is another set of problems.
