Slayer1 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Hi all, I need some recomendation for a suitable amp for my KEF Coda 9 floorstanders. Its a 6ohms speakers. I see mostly all amp output is 8ohms. Thanks.
mc21624705787 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Well it depends on what type of music you listen to and how big your room is. Most people will prefer NADs and Rotels with Rock and Pop and Marantz for Classical. But I'm just generalising here. And it doesn't matter if it's rated 6 ohms. Most modern amps can handle it unless it swings wildly below 4 ohms.

Slayer1 Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Thanks for the replies. I listen to all type of musics from classical to pop and rock. S1

synthesis1624705793 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 No wonder i missed the bus....blink blink S1 Or you want to buy my excellent condition NAD C350 (normal wear on remote control) for S$350? pm me if interested. Still have the box ;) Audition is free.. ;D
mc21624705787 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I'm using a NAD C350 too. IMO it's better than the C320BEE despite being a generation older. And no worries about the 6 ohm load on your KEFs. It drives my 4 ohm Dynaudios fine. ;) If you're wondering, I'm not related to Slayer. Edit: Ack. I meant not related to synthesis.
