Bought the 47" toshiba in the end huh? Good on you. How much did you eventually pay for it? I bought the LG plasma 50" in the end. Price very good. The toshiba was 2k more.... I bought the Denon 1920 upscling player.

You can try pressing the enter or ok button of the remote for the TV. At least that works for my LG.

If you upscale to 1080i from Yamaha 2600 to Toshiba, try the exact scan feature on toshiba then you will know it is 1080 or not.

Hi, I am sorry but I am not clear what exact scan means?..I was trying to get the status of the toshba

In your remote control, the button to change screen mode, press and hold for a second then a list of mode will pop out....

Exact scan is the feature that so call per pixel map your data from DVDp... only available for 1080i source. I have tried several hdmi DVDp feed 1080i signal to Toshiba and high-end DVDp gave better result (clarity & saturation).

Exact Scan mode is only available for 47WL66 when you input 1080i source to it.

Press the button on your remote control which can let you change Picture Mode and you will see exact scan setting.

Hi ya, I can get it on my 47WL66. I have a 37WL66 and a 32LX60 (from Panny). I guess they do not support exact scan then since I cannot get it on the menu

thanks
