vieri Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Hi all Facing dilemma. I'll be posted overseas for at least 2 years & Im still deciding whether to sell or warehouse my HT. (Yamaha RX440 & Def Tech 60, with Pro100 centre Speakers & a sub) I havent tried selling back to KEC yet so Im trying my luck if I can get a good price selling either here or hardwarezone. Purchased approx 1.5 years ago. Im pretty satisfied with the system, its just not feasible for me to bring it abroad though its a satelite system. Anyone keen to take it from me? Thks Vieri
JT Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Try to to sell the entire package at a minimal lost. Otherwise, sell the yammy 440 only and keep the speakers.
dbchoong Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 2 years - sell, no point keeping. Don't keep hifi stuff unused for so long. ;D
Quest88 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 i would advise to sell also. depreciation on amp is the highest, and speakers should not be kept for so long unused. can deteriorate fast especially for those foam material. if you still dun mind an old system when you come back, should be able to purchase something 2nd hand of equivalent or better quality with the same amt of money. ;D
vieri Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 Hi all Thks for all your comments. How should I start? Any kind souls to guide me how much should I cost my HT? I'll throw in the component cables FOC as well. I bought the whole set at $1.8K (tats with the pro 100 centre speakers) from KEC about 1.5 years ago. Thks for everyone's help Cheers Vieri
