khewa Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I currently have a pair of Energy Veritas mains speakers. I'm looking for the Veritas Center speaker in the used market but unable to find anything so far. So now I'm forced to get a compatible center speaker. Anyone has any experience in mix and match center speaker with mains ? The center costs more than $1200 if purchased new, I don't want to pay that much for a center speaker.

Hiya K, You can always use one of a bookshelf from the same range, which is more readily available and most of the time cheaper too. The other side I guess you can keep for spares, hehehe Cheers Dirtrun
dbchoong Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 What AVR are you using? Some AVRs has a center speaker equaliser that allows you to adjust the center to match the main speakers. :)
