maxpower1624705738 Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I'm looking for a nice sub that will fit a typical HDB bedroom. Right now using REL Q100E, good as it is, doest quite cut it in movies in the low end. My preferred budget is around 1500 or less. SVS PB10 looks too big for me much i would love to own one. My choices: 1. Dominator D10 by bob carver 2. Defnitive supercube 2 3. HSU STF-2 4. Mirage S12/S10 5. Energy S12.3/S10.3 6. Velodyne CHT 12R/CHT 10R Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
SiriuslyCold Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 saw the Paradigm Ultracube 10 I think its within your budget (or less?), and its relatively tiny for a 10"
DIRTRUN Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 How big is the SBS 12, the latest small sub enclosure from SVS? But I guess it will cost more than 1.5k shipped thou... Cheers. Dirtrun
maxpower1624705738 Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Hmm paradigm ultracube, but it looks expensive though. Will check on that. I very much prefer the cylinder subs from SVS, quite sad they dont export them anymore.
DIRTRUN Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 So does most forummers here, bro, but some cannot tahan and bought the PB box sub anyway... At least it is still an SVS. Cheers and do tell us what you end up with. Dirtrun
synthesis1624705793 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 ...... Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. You've got wide choices already. You can just audition and pick the one that's best for you. The Hsu is powerfull enough for 5.6x3.6m room so it should be sufficient for typical HDB bedroom.
