myhifisystem Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I have enquired through Merdeka which is seling the current 2 models i.e. RX-ES1 & RX-F10 and I guessed we have to wait for some time. The nearest you can get is through friends in Australia but price is too high at A$1,399!! May be someone is passing by Dubai can get it much cheaper?? This will be my replacement for Pana XR-10. SiriuslyCold Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 its one of the JVC Hybrid Digital amps Sound&Vision did a review, and theres an unofficial owner's thread on AVS which says "the 702B does not upconvert video. It deinterlaces 480i to 480p via Faroudja's DCDi, and passes everything else at it's original resolution via HDMI, that's it" i.e transconversion of any video to HDMI which i suppose is pretty useful. it's a relatively high-end unit, the MSRP is US$799 which explains the Aussie pricing somewhat
