kacang Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 I have been looking arund for a reasonable priced DVD recorder as per another thread, and found that the samsung DVD-HR735 has almost every feature I would need. But been reading on avforums.com that there is or might be a problem with lip-synch when copying from the HDD to a DVD-R... Does anyone have this recorder and have noticed these problems. I am asking here since there are usually differences (albeit slight) between models for EU/US and asia. For example the pioneer recorders in asia come with a PAL/NTSC tuner, where as US/EU models do not. SO if anyone has this recorder pls can you update us on the lipsynch issue reported in UK... Thx, Erick PS the price I have been quoted in jakarta is +/- 399 US$ which seems a excellent price...

bigbird Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I saw there is a promotion for Samsung DVD-HR735 recorder at Best Denki today selling SGD$649 with free HDMI cable. I am looking for a recorder and wondering if this is a good bargain. My priority is the picture quality playing DVD via the HDMI connection to my plasma tv. Any owner here who can share with me the quality of this player?
