sean168 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Any Minidisc fan out there? I noted that hardly any shops are selling MD players and the discs anymore. I still got recordings in MD and would still like to get the Sony Hi-MD MZ-RH1 but doesnt seem to be able to find it.
karlie Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Having been a MD fan many years ago, I can safely say: MD has been dying since since its conception. The question should instead be: "Is MD finally dead?". The answer: I guess it is still maintained alive, but barely.
Norman_Chan Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I'm having 2 mini-disc players ... :P ...one from Sony and one from Sharp ...and about 10 pcs of mini-disc with some recorded ...find it good but due to technology moving too fast ...MP3 player is killing it totally ... the recording from a CD to the mini-disc really long time ...if ....it just can connect through the computer and use it as a external harddisk to transfer the songs and music over the blank mini-disc will be good !
zapp1624705742 Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I think sony failed to see that PC would be the center for most portable music users...if they had come out with a MD drive or equivalent it might have a better chance...
Norman_Chan Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Yes ...if only it can be connected to the PC ...and download the songs to the mini-disc ....
