pst Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I've been using Firefox - very pleased with it. Just that - how do you make it show other languages like Chinese etc? I went to the Options tab, Languages, added all the chinese (SG, HK, TW) - but still cannot leh... :-\ any idea??? must I download something? pst
sonofdbn Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I think you might also need to ensure your WinXP (assuming that's what you're using) can display Chinese characters. There are settings under Control Panel / Regional and Language Options. Usually support for Chinese is installed automatically, but perhaps something is different in your setup. I didn't do anything special with Firefox and I can see hk.yahoo.com without any problems. (Can't read the characters, but that's a different problem :P)
dbchoong Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Try the Windows Control Panel -> Regional & Language Options -> Languages tab -> Check "Install files for East Asian Languages" ;D
