Was at Best Denki Thomson Plaza earlier today and they are offering free extended warranty for all their Samsung LCD TV's.  On top of the freebies from Samsung, Best was also giving two free gifts but can't remember what they were already.

HN having a Samsung fair also in Millenia, was there yesterday.

 

Today, was at Funan and Courts was there also promoting Samsung, with some price cutting. Still, I find it a little bit more expensive than going to neighbourhood shops

40" offered for standard price of $4999 but you may be able to get some discounts after negotiations.  However, if HN is also offering the extended warranty for the same number of years, then better to get from them then.  One other thing is that if you are willing to top up another 200, you can get the Bravia 40" V series at HN.  But no free extended warranty.

For slightly less than 5000 (about 49-something), you can get the Sony Bravia V 40" LCD from Parisilk including GST.

if buy from there does it provide extended warranty ?

for a $5K piece of equipment would prob feel more assured if I have a 5 yrs extended warranty.

good think abt buying Samsung 40" from HN is it comes free 5 yrs warranty, $300 voucher and dvd recorder.
