Guest OmegaRed Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Hi, Everbody is talking about SVS sub, highly recommended, why not try...Hplanet selling one new set around yr budget. I used to own a PB10. However, I have problem taming it after moving into a bedroom for HT. Hence, sold it.
Guest OmegaRed Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Anyway, I have bought the CHT-10R. But the new shippment only arrive in 3 weeks time. So now using the display set for time being until I exchnge with a new set. :)
concept1624705825 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I've recently also bought the CHT-10R. It's easier to set up cause it comes with a remote. Volume, phase and the 4 eq. presets are all acessible through the remote. The last set was bought by me ;D That's the reason u are using the display set Omegared.
Norman_Chan Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 So how much is this CHT-10R and which shop is having it for audition ?

Yubaba Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Hi, Everbody is talking about SVS sub, highly recommended, why not try...Hplanet selling one new set around yr budget. Are you sure he is selling at this price?
Whyrlwynd Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I used to own a PB10. However, I have problem taming it after moving into a bedroom for HT. Hence, sold it. this is my biggest worry when ordering the SVS PB10 as my room is small but ceiling quite high. Hope the bass port will help out some, otherwise if unable to tame the beast, i have to consider selling it. :'( :-X

Hefraz Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Once you get used to the remote..there's no turning back!! ;D
concept1624705825 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 My sub is place between the center and beside my right speaker. I tilt the sub to about 40 degrees so that the port will be firing at the listening position. Have limited places to play with thus thats the position that my sub will be. Will be moving to a dedicated room once i got my pj. The cleanest bass i have so far is with the jazz/classical eq setting. And right once u get used to the remote thare no turning back. :)
Whyrlwynd Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 no worries lah. :) with this thing called bfd, you can be sure to tame the beast. ;D :o Quest is dragging me deeper and deeper into the dark side :o
