Dear Valued Customer You may have heard from the media in February 2006 that MediaCorp, jointly with the Media Development Authority (MDA), will be embarking on a nationwide High Definition TV (HDTV) trial on UHF Channel 38 starting June 2006 for a period of six months.. We would like to seek your opinion on HDTV Trial as well as invite you to participate in this High Definition TV (HDTV) trial if you happened to own a HD Ready TV. We would appreciate it if you could kindly fill in the attached questionnaire "HDTV PRE-TRIAL SURVEY" and return it to: hdtvfeedback@samsung.com For those with HD Ready TV, the intention of the trial is to select a panel of trialists representing the demographics of Singapore's population, we therefore seek your understanding that not all qualified households will be selected for the trial. If you are selected, MediaCorp will contact you to confirm your interest and outline the six-month commitment as a trialist. The officer contacting you will also outline the details of your trial, maybe sometime in May 06. For those without HD Ready TV, we would like to seek your opinion on HDTV Trial. We look forward to your participation in this very important nation-wide initiative as the results derived from this HDTV trial will help to determine the direction of High Definition Television plans by MediaCorp.
