I don't mind, besides it is still a SVS, that's all that matters..... hehehe. Anyway, cannot always upgrade because they change some component inside. Only upgrade when you have valid reason or excessive cash, hehehe

Yes man..cant always looking for upgrade, must learn to satisfy right? else this game will nvr end.

This time is my last upgrade to my system..My Harbeth sound lovely to my ear from high to mid low..hope my new 2 subs can blend in nicely to make my C7 sound even nicer and go lower... ;) otherwise, sales them and I stil happy :D

but both (XR55 and PB12 plus) still give me that good feeling at just the right time

SVS says "We'll soon allow specially priced pre-orders of Plus 12.3 woofers for validated customers who simply must have the latest and greatest. If that's you, expect by May you'll be able to bolt in the latest for a song... then play a song."

 

Wonder if they will want the 12.2 woofer back? If not, dbChoong may get his wish ;D

 

New plus driver owner in AVSF forum had reported that the new driver give better SQ especially in music. See link and got picture in side too.

I heard someone from avs mentioned those still under warranty can get the new driver at more cheaper price . So MO should become quite messy , I feel . I also hope there is a MO to share the shipping charges  ;D

The shipping is the issue. These things are heavy. How about some of us who know each other (e.g., Jag, Jason, myself) just band together to put all the woofers into one box to ship via Bax. I need 2. I think Jag needs 2 and Jason about 5-6 ;D

Seems like they are shifting from TC-sounds to in-house manufacture. I wonder how the new ultra driver would be like when it's unveiled.

I dun mind a few band together,........ i'm in if its ok with u guys.

 

Then we can help each other to fix the driver in........ its not difficult, but extra hands with heavy drivers are definately appreciated.  :) :)

What are you guys going to do with the Old plus driver? DIY another Sub or make into Car Subwoofer? Sell it to SVS PCi subwoofer owners? :)

 

Does it involve a lot of work in changing the driver? I just curious, how musically sound when it compare with the Old plus driver? :)

If that is the case, may I want to consider to have ONE too..Afterall the price is not too exp. :)

Keep the old driver lo. With our climate, dunno how long drivers can last?

 

After saying that my old sub is 8 years old and  still going strong, hehehe

Foam lined drivers will deteriorate fast. So, there is not much to worry about SVS drivers. :)

??? Don need so many lah  ;D

 

Btw , forget to mention you guys can keep the current plus drivers  ;D.
