i'm using the RX-v357... is there anyway to change from headphone to speakers without plugging the headphones physically?

A bit confused here you want to output sound from your LR while having a headphone plugged in, is  it?  If thats the case, I don't think you can do that as usually the amp detects the HP jack and automatically mutes the 5.1 signal.

 

Just curious but why do you want to do that?

well cos everynight i use my headphones... in the day i use speakers

and from my past experience constant plugging and unplugging of the headphones is a big nono...

so is there anyway around this?

Oh I see, well there is always the amp for cans but that won't be cheap, heeheehee

sigh... do u have any idea how much a cheap headphone amp costs 2nd hand?

I think there is a forum on cans as well and there used to be one guy who is a real fan, maybe you can do a search here on headphones, I am sure you will come up with something.
