New Macmini capabilities - Any user feedback?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

The new mac mini looks like a cool all in one HTPC/Media Server with due core intel, dual layer dvd burner, 512RAM and lots of IO slots. Does anyone know if it can output 1080p and output DTS signal out from its digital audio port? Are there any forums delicated to HTPC for Mac? Also say for SGD 1500, am I able to get a all in one PC just like macMini?

Thanks

Avsforum has an active HTPC Mac forum. I think DTS is no problem; there seems to be some concern about 1080p, but I haven't followed this very much. Let us know what you find.Unfortunately AFAIK Front Row doesn't come with the Mac Mini - please let us know if I'm wrong on this.
