sas_aaron Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Now settled every accessories for IF4805 except for ceiling bracket for IF4805. Went to Fastlogic to see the Ceiling Bracket, but their model is the round grey pipe which is about 29cm(this is already the shortest it can go.). i think its too long cos i have a low ceiling, and they suggest i can cut the pipe and saw it. pay money still need to sweat ;D 1) anyone can recomend any other reliable ceiling bracket, about 10-15cm in length ones? Can let me know where to buy and the price(dun wanna get carrot chopped) too? :D 2) For universal bracket, do they provide the specific size of screws (for attaching projector to bottom of bracket) in it?
Audio Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I recommend you my Ruby mount...just one night of work..... :) 1" Plank of wood = $8 (From your friendly furniture manufactuer - Tampines Industrial Park) Coppr pipe---FOC Screws, stubs - about $5. L shape bracket = 2 sets X $18 (From DIY shops) (Audio)
sas_aaron Posted April 5, 2006 Author Posted April 5, 2006 hmmm i would want to use your method cos end of the day my pocket will feel heavier, but i no choice gotta use ceiling bracket or else the projected image is too big for my 80" screen :)
Gaolow Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Mine is using the speaker stand to mount on the ceiling and attached it with two metal plate and using the lead screw to secure as well as adjustment of height. word of advise: if ur ceiling is not flat, the mount will be at an angle..
X-Men Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 You can try Millennium at Funan. They did the HT setup for a friend of mine and I recall it's the adjustable length type. BUT I dunno if they have grey, yellow or black type, or if they have the length you want. ??? hmm.. 10-15 cm may be a bit short for a ready-made projector bracket though, you may have to cut it yourself or ask someone to do it. :)
