anyone heard the jamo A310 before?

how are they?

i got quoted $399 for the set at SLS... the guy said 100w per chan but seach web seems to be only 50w or 70w...

My experience from a decade ago....was jamo speakers are hard to drive. In the end, had to settle for MS to go with my amp.

Not sure abt their current models.

d[e]w - you shouldn't worry about the power handling - the more critical spec is impedance and sensitivity - if this is low sensitivity (below 87db/w/m) then youw ill need a more powerful amp to drive it.

 

the A 320 is a satellite speaker, 88db/w/m and 6Ω i suppose the A 310 satellite is similar? if so, most receivers will be able to drive it easily.

 

anyhow $399 for a 5.1 set sounds very reasonable, and Jamo is a well known brand.

 

most importantly, did you like the sound? if you can't test it out, don't buy
