sas_aaron Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Is there any problem with placing the 'inverted' PJ on a flat surface (E.g. top of shelf) will it damage the PJ?
pcking1624705747 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Is there any problem with placing the 'inverted' PJ on a flat surface (E.g. top of shelf) will it damage the PJ? No projectors that I know of allows for "inverted" placement on a shelf. Reasons are some r not level on the top cover, some have buttons on the top, others may have ventilation holes on to top, etc...... If U have to place your projector on a high shelf, I think the best way is to mount your projector under your shelf. i.e. the projector will be screwed underneath your shelf. Do note that U will need very long screws if your shelf is very thick. Good Luck ! ;)

Guest jonlee Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 The invert image function of the pj is when u physically image the projector, thus u need to invert the image to get a normal image on screen. If placing pj upright but high up, image is not inverted but it will be out of the screen. U will need a pj with a huge vertical lens shift to have the image where u want it to be. Instead, most projectors will allow you to invert the image....allow you to achieve the same effect without physically inverting the projector. Look into your setup menu. :) (Audio)
