Cam1624705756
Maybe you could try getting better recorded CDs and see if they make any diff. to your current system. I've found that HDCD and better recorded CDs do sound better. Just my 1cent.

aloychan
with 1K, u can go for either the DYNAUDIO 52 or the EPOS M12. Go 4 auditions to let ur ear decide, do not be misled by review or headsay.

Deepblue1624705734
With this budget, you can try Quad 11L too... ;D
Fowler
With this budget, you can try Quad 11L too... ;D If you love the Quad sound, try the Wharfedale 70th Anniversary..... Compared it to the Wharf Diamonds, the 70s are real gems in sound quality & finishing is almost top notch. Not surprising on the sound quality as both companies are related in some way and they use similar parts to manufacture. The price of $600+ for matching bird eye finish (Yes, even the speakers are matched) makes it a steal and to be honest, this is the ONLY pair of Wharfedales to impress me. They can be auditioned in a shop located in one corner of Concorde Hotel Disclaimer: I do not gain financially by giving the above compliments. Just my frank opinion.
