Ah silk..u're absolutely right..and to think just one hour ago I was telling TKY that I wanted to sell my AU24 to buy the Diva i/cs....sigh.......

this will seriously undermine the second hand value of the audience cables....

Don't know how to describe, but it was certainly much better than the cables that I've used previously. I was willing to pay more than twice the amount for my previous cable, not because it was twice better, but because the boss is a really nice chap who left a very deep and positive impression on me 15 years ago when I was a penniless student.

I have both the Au24 and Maestro. The Au24 did sound significantly better than Maestro (to my ears).

I used the Au24 between CDP and Preamp, and Preamp to Poweramp.

I used the Maestro between the turntable to the phonoamp.

Would love to have all Au24...but really can't afford it. But now with the big discounts..hmm..hmmmm...

What are your experiences with the cable?

Which do you choose, the Au24 or Maestro?

Which part of your system do you use it for?

As the AU24 is known to be a "neutral" cable, you may not like the result, especially when you're using Nordost (which is known to be "fast").

I've friends who commented very favorably on using the AU24 as a digital cable too.

If 0.5m is an OK length for you, maybe I can lend you mine to try but you'd have to lend me one pair of i/c in return.

I tot this offer was already on quite some time ago?

I think they had had an offer last December, but the discount was not this high. Sigh! Time is bad...

Agree that it might not suit everyone's taste. I have tried A/B on several I/Cs before including some more expensive than AU24. On first impression, AU24 may sound thin, but i soon realized that it was because other cables gave emphasis on certain frequency of sound (e.g. midrange, bass, etc). Finally i still prefer AU24 as it give music a natural and neutral flow.

Well, this is just my very personal feeling and i did not use any equipment for measurement during the AB. Most importantly, listen to it yourself ;)
