Hergest
Item Condition: Freshly Knitted Shipping Options: Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Bright State: VIC Payment Method: Paypal, Bank Deposit Reason for selling: Baby It's Cold Outside Further information: What with lockdowns here in Vic and working like the devil in between times it seems ages since I've listed any of these and I've managed to accumulate a fair few. During the first lockdown (or was it the second?) I picked up a knitting machine from the 80s that I've mastered after lots of trial and error so amongst the hand knitted items there are some that are machine knitted. All analogue of course as I knit both by hand and with the machine while records and tapes play so there is audiophile goodness in every weave. I reckon if I hung all of my knitting on the walls of the listening room then the sonics would be even more spectacular. A beanie on the spindle of the turntable and a couple of scarves atop each speaker would put Shun Mook to shame. All for a fraction of the price. For those new to this, a brief introduction. My mum taught me to knit when I was a kid many moons ago. When I got to my teenage years I dropped it but then picked it up again maybe ten or more years ago now. To relax I sit and knit while listening to music. I'm really fussy when it comes to wool so only use Australian grown and produced merino, none of this grown here, exported overseas and then reimported to be sold cheaper than locally produced nonsense which in my eyes is environmental vandalism at it's worst. So I use Nundle wool from NSW, Cleckheaton Superfine from Wangaratta just down the road from me and Bendigo wool from a bit further across the state. Occasionally I will use Uruguayan merino produced by a non profit rural female co-operative as it's lovely stuff and if I can help out rural Uruguayan women then it might be a big tick when I slip off this mortal coil. I'll just plant more trees in the garden to offset the transport carbon nasties. All are knitted in a smoke free, pet free, perfume free home. There might be heavy metal absorbed into the weave but that's Motorhead rather than mercury. I know it says that we shouldn't mention price here in the thread but as there's a price for beanies and one for scarves then I hope I can get away with it. Also, I always want to mention that buying local and top quality wool means it's not cheap and as this is a hobby I've always done it just to cover the cost of materials. So scarves are still $50 and beanies are $30. Items are sent Express Aus Post, $10 flat rate for each order regardless of how many items. Payment by Paypal or bank transfer. Shoot me a PM or mention in the thread if there's anything that takes your fancy and I'll be in touch. Each item will have a number and description so it's dead easy to say what you would like. Feel free to ask any questions. Oh yes, the scarves are all roughly 16 cm wide and 180 cm long. Photos: #1. Bendigo Wool Mills in Almond SOLD #2. Bendigo Wool Mills in Marigold SOLD #3. audiofeline
I admire your work, if I went out in the cold more I would definitely be a customer. GLWTS, but based on prior popularity, I don't think you need it.

nofixedaddress
Hergest, I've got frequency room peak just smack bang in the middle of the Java frequency absorption range. Just so happens the node is where my better half sits for listening. If I can grab #21 Java scarf for her my ears would love it! Awesome work there...I keep missing out as it takes a while for the interthingy to get over to the wild west. Cheers NFA
