Hi everyone, I am newbie and have problem with my AEM 6000 power amp. The kit was from Jaycar and PC board  is very much ordinary so I dont think rebuild is posible.

Is anyone out there to help with module replacement as power supply is very good at +-75v with four 10000mf and 100v, toroidal trany 300va50-0-50v . Kit has additional surge current monitors AEM6545  and status monitorsAEM6504protection modules build .

Hi Vilan, maybe head over to the DIY forum for suggestions on an amp circuit that would suit your power supply.

Are you looking for a certain power output, or a low cost project, or anything in particular? eBay and AliExpress would have some assembled boards that might suit you too.

PS you’ve put your username (vilan) as the ‘topic’ or subject of your thread, but this should be a brief description of what you are asking about! This makes it easier for others to help 🙂

No worries 😊

One circuit that might suit you is very popular on DIY Audio and nicknamed the ‘Honey Badger’. It offers 150W from a +-60V rails.

Lengthy discussion of the circuit going back nearly 10 years!

Another popular option: eBay has lots of clones of older Naim power amps, but you’d get less power and they need a lower voltage to work compared to other options.

But hopefully somebody can chime in with personal recommendations. 👍
