Grumpy Posted August 28, 2021 Author Posted August 28, 2021 POWER !!!!!!!!! I feel kinda bad though - Port proved the so called Victorian biased 'experts' wrong as l don't think any of them gave Port a chance
wolster Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 They played a great game, Grumps. On that form, they will take some beating from here. 1
Grumpy Posted September 11, 2021 Author Posted September 11, 2021 I'll wake up soon and realize it's just a nightmare - it is , isn't it - please tell me it's not real. Bloody Victorians
wolster Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Never mind @Grumpy You were beaten by an awesome team on the day and it has set up an epic grand final between the two teams who spent the most weeks in the top two through the season. Hoping I can get a ticket

Kaynin Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 (edited) Oh, okay. Couldn’t find a 2022 AFL thread in honour of @Nude. Anyway, I guess it was the Cats this year. Edited September 24, 2022 by Kaynin
LHC Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 2023 AFL thread Best game of the year. Port Adelaide was the better side all game but Collingwood found a way to win. Jamie Elliott kicked two crazy goals. 3

Port looked impressive also, kudos to them

wolster Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Could be another Friday night cracker in store with Pies v Blues and a huge crowd at the G. Glad I don't barrack for either team and can just enjoy the game (with one eye on the Ashes on another screen) 1
wolster Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 (edited) Anyone beat my 6/9 tipping on the weekend? Our local bub has a tipping comp and nominates a staff member to tip for the season. If you beat said staff member in any round you get e free pint. He got 3/9 at the weekend, so there will be plenty of free pints flowing Edited August 1, 2023 by wolster
LHC Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 `What a semi-final. Incredible win by Carlton. 1

Port out in straight sets after having a great season. I wasn't suprised Wol. Ports form dropped right off in the last few weeks. Now i can relax and enjoy watching the finals. I would really love a GWS , Brisbane GF. Yep no bloody vics would ease the pain of Ports loss. Bring on 2024.

I can enjoy all the finals without the tension of my team being involved. And before anyone says it, that will probably be for quite a few more seasons 1 1 1
wolster Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Looking forward to the prelims over the weekend. They are often better games than the grand final and it's the last chance to see huge supporter involvement. Should be 90K plus crowd at the MCG this evening and, as an impartial observer, may the best team dressed in orange win 1
