can you tell me which current model this is equivalent to with your upgrades?
I assume this doesn’t have a remote volume ?
thanks

It’s the basic non phono version, only difference if it has the new circuit is the phono stage,

line stage is standard across all models unless you custom build with Mick.

@buddyev Sauvignon is between Chardonnay and Cortese .

As far as I know the circuit is modified to the current design Mick applies to the Preamps in current production.

This is a line stage only Pre amp. No Phono .

Yes , it comes with remote

Well there you go; bought a new pre-amp last week or I would have been onto this in a flash.  Looks very good value and has the great looks that Mick gets in his stuff - good luck with the sale.

Does it also have 2 line outs in addition to the balanced options ?

I'm a little confused as to exactly who is selling the preamp.

I couldn't understand how a "guest" could post on the classifieds.

Is Robert the actual seller?

If you are, could you please PM me.

@Pegasus Roberts used to be known as "field" but lost the account due to recent issue at Stereonet.

The Pre is  sold pending pick up and payment .Thank you for your interest

Cheers,

That's okay.

You snooze, you lose.

I'm actually borrowing one from a club member tonight to see if it is compatible with my power amplifiers.

I have been told that they will pick up any circuit noise in the power amp.

I was going to put an offer in after I had checked the power amp compatibility.

I haven't had a tube pre before.

I've got 2 valve headphone amps and a valve phono stage.

@Pegasus  pre amp and the power supply must be kept well away from any power transformers . Please refer the information attached.

Pre was sold to a stereonet member pending pickup and payment but backed off on the pickup day .

So Pre is back for sale.

They can be finicky, but setup properly are just wonderful. They just add character to your system in spades. Biggest thing is to keep the power supply away from big transformers etc. they last very well too, have had one that was over 20 years old and still worked and looked like new
