I bought this about a year ago but in reality I have no need for multiple carts and I never played it. Brian Maddern at Decibel Hifi has inspected and saw no wear on the stylus, it's had very light use. Brian was interested to hear the cartridge so he installed it and came away very impressed. It's one of the best carts he has heard and has the best bass definition of any cartridge he has come across. I am unsure exactly how the SE varies from the standard Crimson but the specs look almost identical to Stradivarius. I just can't be bothered swinging another cartridge on just to try it.
