Australian & New Zealand Made Cables

Guest

We support the existence of this list and encourage buying Australian Made. However, we would like to draw your attention to two important threads to be aware of when considering buying from boutique manufacturers - this is in reference predominantly to power cable products.

Does Your Power Cord Comply?

We have a number of  excellent cables made in Australia and New Zealand.  Please consider them when you look for your next cables. This list came from ANZ made Hifi gear.

Ya, he may have stopped making the cables now. His website is anyways quite old, and not been updated recently

... but there is the https://foilflexcables.com/ site, which points back to a price list in the lenehan site.

Yup........you are right. Seems like he was running the cable business under a different name

@Snoopy8 here you go for Mike's cables

Thank you, added FoilFlex cables...

Sorry for the nitpick, but it’s not Audio Principle, it’s Principe (Italian for prince).

This list is great, thanks Snoopy.

@Marc

Perhaps a seperate list…..

I would love to see a thread which potentially lists power cable manufacturers whose cables actually meet and hold  Australian compliance, and safety ticks.

When I was looking for shielded power cables for my system, I had difficulty getting confirmation from manufacturers as to whether their cables held the relevant Australian compliance/certifications… which certainly is not ideal for consumers.

It could be a short list ....

Happy for anyone to start a thread - but actually determining what complies and who has compiance will be a can of worms for someone. I have gone down the path (briefly) before, and it's very hard to get accurate information, and harder unless you sight/buy actual samples.

I agree the list will be short indeed.
