I will have to wait for your visit to hear the 8 track.... The Infinite HQ 45rpm sounds very nice. DVD-A V SACD V LP 45rpm will make a interesting blind test for a mini GTG. No doubt there would be no clear winner except 10/10 for enjoyment.. Stump

Counting Crows August and Eveything After. SACD DVD-A is a niche market in today's streaming world. I enjoying seeing what others are playing and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.Apart from Currently Spinning we can add Currently Purchacing and share where you are buying SACD and DVD-A if available. CD Japan is where I source new SACD with Discogs best resource for used.

ZEN MISTER Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Picked up a copy today. “ AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE “ was deliver last year and A.P. did a very worthy transfer for the sacd layer. AYE despite being announced at the same time, was delayed approx. 2 years with much speculation as to reason why. Remembering these tapes are from as early as December 1966, most tracks hold up well in sonic terms, some a little ‘ bitey’ . So, different recording dates, yield varying levels of tape age. Nothing unacceptable. Shall compare it to my Blu-Spec CD from the Japan reissue program a few years back. The sacd layer has the U.S. stereo and mono track list. A little disappointing as most hoped the two versions would be combined. The CD layer is stereo only. Best track, THIRD STONE FROM THE SUN. The tape is in great shape, and this awesome slice of psychedelia remains a trippy joy , nothing sounded like it before, and very little after. Billy 5
