Antipodean Brad Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Not sure why Metaxas is in the list. They are head-quartered in The Netherlands, and I don't think that they have been made in Australia for a long time. 1

Kon tells me he designs where he resides (in Greece), and his two sons assemble them where they live, in Melbourne. But anyway, there is no Australian distributor anyway, so may as well keep them removed.

Andy Hi Andy As I am aware you simply amend your profile, which then reflects in each message post bearing the manufacturer of audio products message as seen applying, as shown here:

No problems putting you on the list. The other requirement is having a web link that people can refer to, Aah, then I definitely do not have a commercial offering, Snoops. I do what I do as a hobby - to keep me occupied in retirement. I don't have a registered business (and am far below the threshold for needing to remit GST and BAS statements to the government). Nor do I (yet!) have a website. Thanks to @stereo coffeeand @muon*for your advice - which I have followed. Andy Edited December 19, 2020 by andyr 1
sub Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Pure Audio (PureAudio.co.nz) are Wellington, NZ based, and are Gary Morrison, the technical brains, and Ross Stevens, who designs the casework. Garry and Ross were previously the design team behind iconic Plinius gear. They left Plinius and later set up Pure Audio. They perhaps fly under the radar, but their products - integrated amp, control amp, power amps, both stereo and mono blocks, and phono pre amps (all running in Class A) - are gaining massive interest in USA and Europe.. I have used the PureAudio Vinyl Pre. The sound is superb, very musical. The whole range are future classics. 1
