The Conductor SE are the second series of cables created by Audience and offer a high performance to price ratio. They are designed for low eddy-current resistance, which Audience have found to be the most important quality in high-resolution audio. The Conductor SE cables are very flexible, making them easy to install in tight spaces. To achieve greater sonic purity, the physical design leans towards simplicity. Subjectively, a natural musical timbre is experienced. Tonally, there is a family resemblance with the Au24 interconnects with only slightly less resolution. The Conductor SE cables are an excellent choice when high resolution, tonally pleasing sound reproduction is desired while staying within a budget.

 

Audience Conductor SE series cable is available in RCA, RCA-DIN, XLR, Subwoofer RCA, S/PDIF RCA-RCA, S/PDIF RCA-BNC and S/PDIF BNC-BNC versions.

The Audience Maestro and Conductor cabling was ultimately so satisfying and suited to my needs that I’m very curious about the upscale Au24 line.

The cables you choose should leave you with no doubt that better performance can be had only at a far greater cost that would be out of proportion with the cost of the rest of your system. The Conductor cables from Audience fit this description well. I can think of no good reason to spend more on cables for an affordably priced system. While using the Audiences, I never once longed for more. The Conductor is the affordable cable I’ll be recommending to friends and family.

Audiophiles on a budget can be assured that these cables won’t leave them short-changed. Like the Chinese astrological Ox, these cables speak little but they do so eloquently while inspiring confidence. To hear music with this much clarity and refinement is more than worth the asking price.
