There does seem to be a Squeezebox/Tidal issue at the moment. Happened a few weeks ago also. I expect it will be sorted quite quickly. I don't think you need to, or can, do anything about it.

@Bush thug Jackybrown is correct - an upgrade  to LMS server to version 8 is now required to support Tidal due to a change in the way they stream

You can download the latest installers here - http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=8.0

If you're using a QNAP NAS, QNAP no longer supports LMS, but "QNAPclub" does - https://www.qnapclub.eu/en/qpkg/545 & they also support V8 of LMS

Hope this helps.

I had the same issue and found this in LMS forum earlier today:

https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?112300-Attention-TIDAL-users-changes-ahead!&p=994507&viewfull=1#post994507

Now I have updated to latest LMS8.0 and problem solved!

Unfortunately doesn't work for me ! I still get the same" Failed to stream" message. The SBT will play files from my laptop as usual. When I check for software updates by using the touch pad interface on the SBT itself the latest updates are not available, & still shows version 7.  etc even after updating to 8.0 on the laptop. Can Someone check their SBT, by going through settings & see if it shows LMS8.0 on the actual unit? That of course won't help me as such, but may offer an explanation. Bugger, was working fine until Nov.

Any suggestions to help much appreciated, I've uninstalled / reinstalled LMS ? so many times but no luck.

?

I'm streaming Tidal to my Squeezebox via Roon and that seems fine.

The path is probably Tidal -> Roon -> Squeezebox rather than Tidal -> LMS -> Squeezebox so I don't expect any change there (yet).

I would suggest you need to find out if it's a SBT problem or the LMS problem. If you have a Windows laptop or PC, you can try to install a free Windows squeeze player - "squeezelite-x" from the Microsoft Store and see if Tidal working with it, if yes, it's the SBT problem, otherwise it's the LMS problem.

Me too, I had a very good run with LMS but moved to Roon due to hit and mis compatibility with  streaming services.

Am using Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.1 with SqueezeLite-R2 player.   No problems using Tidal with laptop browser and Squeezer Android player app.  The ** Squeezer** LMS Tidal functionality is better than using BubbleUPnP Android app which has a direct connection to Tidal.

Tidal integration is often cited as the reason to get Roon (see above posts) but the LMS Tidal functionality has met my needs adequately.  For me, Roon does not provide enough value...
