Yes. ... but like almost all other drivers, it will need substantial EQ to have a flat response. There's nothing wrong with that (at all), it just means you need to design the EQ/correction. With only 6mm linear travel, it will probably need a subwoofer.

crtexcnndrm99 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Cheers for the repost Yep, as has been said regarding open baffle, I was breaking these in propped up on the floor for over a month while waiting to build the cabinets and can attest to the lack of bass like that (I know.. not the same as OB). It was once they were in a large porter cab and with some mass loading that I became really impressed by the bass performance. You could build much smaller than I did (I was going for a statement piece of furniture ), as Mark will show you on his build. Would love to see a Kensington style cabinet though!! I really do admire the appearance of the classic Tannoy range...

I wish I’d gone with the back and front loaded horn, closer to the Autograph (if you have the resources for that sort of cabinetry).
