darthlaker Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 Mmmmmmm.....I reckon I would give her volume knobs a twirl.....
Keith_W Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 OK, I don't get it. Does someone understand the fashion industry? My question is - why do they put on display all these horrendous creations that nobody is ever going to wear?
snowdownunder Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 No Keith, what a joke. I hope she got paid well.
proftournesol Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I'll take a 2 channel pair but not sure if I want the woofer:)
darthlaker Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 aj, maybe it's a tweeter on the top....or an iPod dock? proft., maybe she can be a good sub and stand in the corner?
Guest Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 No doubt some dopey tart will wear that hat to the Melbourne cup this year and win some sort of prize (perhaps a meat tray).
emesbee Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 And where is the amplifier and source? Hmm, maybe those shoulder pads!
Jake Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 No doubt some dopey tart will wear that hat to the Melbourne cup this year and win some sort of prize (perhaps a meat tray). Nearly spat my Lord Nelson Old Admiral all over the keyboard, and that would be a shame
Paul Spencer Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 OK, I don't get it. Does someone understand the fashion industry? My question is - why do they put on display all these horrendous creations that nobody is ever going to wear? I don't know Keith, I think it's brilliant! How else do you combine girlie-man speakers with grannie's table cloth (and undies), Americal football shoulder pads, a fish skeleton and an angelesque form all into one outfit ........ and actually get paid for it?!
snowdownunder Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Strange fashion and some very funny replies. Are there any women members on SNA, I do remember one. I can't remember her user name, but her avatar had a women holding a basket ball. Are women welcomed here? Do any women attend the GTG you guys have? I must say when I read the comment about "dopey tart" I was surprised:confused:. Nothing wrong with dopey, but tart to me is sexist. I nearly suggested to a lady who I just posted an LP to, about checking out this place to keep up to date with upcoming LP releases, but seeing she was keen to buy the new Floyd releases, I just directed her to the site that I've pre ordered mine from, just as well I think.
proftournesol Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Does it front & rear entry sockets? No, I think that there's a female connector located at the base of the unit:) It's always important to get a tight fit:party
Guest guru Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 perhaps it's more of a comment on the jewish practice of wearing the phylactery and instead of the box containing portions of scripture ,the box on the model head contains voices of a new and potentially false prophet. as she is dressed as an angel perhaps she is bringing news of a new scripture. perhaps the designer is making a comment on the jewish political system drifting away from the teachings of the scriptures and adopting their own modern reinvention of the "words of god".
Nigel Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 No, I think that there's a female connector located at the base of the unit:)It's always important to get a tight fit:party Why is that important ?
Gee Emm Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 You want a 100% surface contact, otherwise you may get an intermittent experience.
