Bus_Boy Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I just bought some records from Ebay Italy because my partner is over there and has a fixed address for a while. Does anyone know the exact process about changing the shipping address from Australia to Italy. Do i just change my shipping address as normal and leave it at that? Will it be effected because my account was created in Australia? I have to cut and paste then translate the language but some of it i can understand. I just don't want to stuff it up and never see my records. Has anyone done this before?
MooneeBeach Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I'm pretty sure you can just add the Italian shipping address using ebay.com.au. Then pay as per usual, using ebay.com.au. This is how I have purchases from ebay.co.uk sent to my parents address in England, but Italy may differ.
vinyl-eye Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 It might be to late for you as you may have already completed the transaction but you may want to ring paypal before paying for them as they normally will flag a transaction as suspicious if the shipping address as been changed to another country. They will hold the funds then make you jump through hoops to prove that it was you that purchased the items. You might be able to avoid this if you contact them first. As far as changing the shipping address goes you can do it during the checkout procedure. Cheers, Chris.
