I have bought from Damohpi in the past and can vouch for him as a top class seller.

This looks like a great chance to try an amp from a legendary Japanese company. If only funds allowed......

Hi, I agree, Iv'e corresponded with Flaco seems genuine dude--and here's a chance for someone out there to experience the Shindo sound--for the $$'s it's a no brainer!

Bought a few items from Damo in the past and he's a good seller.

Considering his considerable DIY skill in building his own amps, the Shindo must be pretty special to get him hooked. Good luck with the sale and scaling Shindo's ladder.

thanks guys... but "Flaco" ??... :)

sale pending..

jaspert, this quote from Keith Aschenbrenner of Auditorium 23 comes to mind: "When we got the first Shindo amplifiers and connected them fresh out of the box, all of our taken-for-granted musical hierarchies were demolished. This was the next big breakthrough on our path towards musical realism. For us it was the end of DIY amplifiers - we simply surrendered to the obvious superiority of the Shindo Laboratory products."

OOPs! sorry Dam-- Flac seems louder than Dam-ha-- good luck with the sale.

Incidentally sadly these superb Amps can no longer be imported into the EU--Ken S will not compromise his sound quality by using the lead free Solder thereby arousing the ire of the ROHS certifiers --Keith chooses to follow the Law on this

point unlike some of his competitors.According to Shindo the ROHS regs statement necessitating using "crappy" parts and the substandard solder are def' no no's for him.

Brave move.

I do recall reading that some Mfg's are having second thoughts on the specified solder usage-- that it is a detriment sonically--Hmmm.

Ah....an itch I will need to scratch one day. If I didn't spread all my amp coins on quad amping I might be in the market for some Shindo. Looking forward to a listen to your setup one day.:(
