PSV Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) Item: Sansui TU-417 analogue tuner Location: Sydney Price: SOLD Item Condition: Good Reason for selling: Surplus Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD, Bank Deposit (preferred) Extra Info: This is one of the legendary Sansui products from the 1980s. It was recently checked over by Trevor (ZB), and he replaced a fuse and a couple of globes, so it is in good working condition. I have owned this from new, but it was in storage for a number of years. As a result, the top is marked , but the face is in very good condition (see pics). vmhf Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 I have the TU-217 and just love the sound. Amazingly rich and detailed with superb station retrieval in my area which is known to be bad for reception. Bargain for the TU-417 here.
lowpoke Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Bump for a fine piece of equipment! I have a TU 417 with rack handles plus a TU 9900 I'll never sell. I also have a spare pair of rack handles that will fit the 417 if whoever purchases this unit is interested. (Paul I hope you don't mind me mentioning this in your thread.)
PSV Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 No worries lowpoke, the 417 does look good with the handles. Paul
