Hi All,   Some Steely Dan - Aja and Pretzel Logic.     JJ

It has been a massive musical day and testament to the high quality of the Kii 3 speakers, that after 7 hours of music, have not been fatiguing.

Probably my last for the evening.

Simon Phillips and Protocol 4.    Backed by  bassist Ernest Tibbs  guitar shredder Greg Howe and keyboard virtuoso Dennis Hamm.

Stunningly musical and rhythmical CD.   Howe is a genus guitarist.

Seeing as I'm also a huge Simon Phillips fan, I thought I'd give this one another spin

I still need to get the 3rd and 4th installment of Protocol as they are rated even higher.

Greg Howe - Wheelhouse.    I read that Guitar World Mag rated this the #6 Guitar genre album of the past decade.    Nice Kudos.

Ian Moss - Six Strings (2005).  Acoustic set of mostly Cold Chisel songs, and a couple of covers. Recorded live. Nice unwind tunes on a cool and rainy Sunday evening and to reconnect with your inner Chisel tragic.  My fave on this?  Tough call..maybe Bow River 🤘

Snowy White - White Flames

Been a Snowy White fan for many a long time.  This is his first solo effort from 83'.    Some absolute incendiary guitar playing on this CD.

I see it has been remastered in 92' and is available at Amazon.au.

Wonderful, melodic player.

Gary Moore - Guitar Mindtrip.

No idea where I got this but it is a ripper.    I had a 12 min live version of 'The Loaner' hanging around so I added that the end of the CD which is the cherry on top.

Nice Blues.

Ahoy there Folks.

Things are settling down at the BuzzzFuzzz speaker emporium, final parts are arriving and all repairs are under way.  The constant changes going on here led me away from album listening, but now I'm beginning to hear the music again, and not just the sound.

Two albums frequenting my selected tracks folder, are...

I love the clarity and punch of Nils' live set...  and just can't get enough Leonard Cohen, that voice man...  Love it!

Regards.

Keen minds enquire: will we ever see a Grateful Dead review from @BuzzzFuzzz?

Here is a fine band from Perth. The lead singer sounds startlingly like Brian Wilson. Coupled with the arrangements, my best description is Brian Wilson's Beach Boys meet the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. Others will have better descriptions but that'll do me for now.

G'day @ThirdDrawerDown...   Man!  caught with my pants down.  Lol.  No, I haven't had a listen yet, but will definitely post about it when I do.

I mentioned to @progladyte only today, that it's been some time since I've sat down to listen to a full album...  as I'm sure, the Grateful Dead deserve, especially being live sets that you gave me.

I've recently started looking for new music too, thanks for the leads.

Looking forward to more full albums as things fall into place 'round 'ere.

Thanks again mate.
