Krix KDX-C loudspeaker

Featured Replies

Item: Krix KDX-C center speaker

Location: Randwick, Sydney

Price: $250

Item Condition: got some marks at the bottom, see extra info

Reason for selling: not used anymore

Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only

Extra Info: When putting it on the shelf I placed it on rubbery like mat to stop it sliding. This caused a strange reaction on speakers surface ... you can see the result on the pics. that's only on the bottom. Rest of the speaker is in excellent condition.

Ah yes, you get this kind of chemical reaction with rubber fishing lures and you soon learn to never ever leave a packet of them in contact with anything else that has any kind of polyurethane coating or ingredient: They react violently in some cases and bubble and hiss over the course of a day or two. I'd reckon London to a brick that your mat has done this when in contact with the speakers finish.

Hi Luc, it seems like that's exactly what happened :(

Fortunately this is not noticable when speaker is sitting in the shelf :)
