Chill3 Posted June 25, 2011 Author Posted June 25, 2011 WTF No need for pulley!? This is one of the best DD turntables Agree,$400 to freight and perhaps import duty What are you on about with h no plinth no arn comment is it all that 'cheap' orpheus bought his inferior plinth lesser arm $7001 sold ebay here last week no plinth no arm $550 u can buy a lot of plinth and arm for 2K remember too it will be 110 volt so new pulley ...... $$200 shipping $500 so wer up to $3200
gamve Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Yep your prolly right. Do you need another pulley or just a step down transformer? 100V 50 60Hz
metal beat Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Ah, another one, the one from a few days ago is all ready gone. The P10 with 2nd arm wand is excelllent as a lot do not have the 2nd arm wand. You will pay at least $400 in freight, as well as GST on the 3k as hifido will not under declare the value. As Chill said, you will need only a step down. The kashimura TI-200 from Joynet on ebay is the best and another $150. Not too sure about what djb is jibbering about, but with the P10 you have one of the nicest integrated DD's available without the need to screw around with DIY. cheers
djb Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 i stand corrected re voltage needs thanks for the knowledge
maxspl Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Even taking into account import duty , gst and shipping , a P10 under 4 grand represents great value. I sold mine to an sna member recently but have fond memories of it. Using a 100v to 240v stepup transformer with these tables is no issue at all.
