vmhf Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 (edited) Item: Linn Kan Mk1 Black Pair with 500mm Metal Stands Location: Sydney Price: SOLD for $450 Item Condition: Not bad considering the vintage. Check out photos. They sound great with no flaws in that department. Reason for selling: Have two pairs of Linn Kans Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: The Mk 1 version of Linn Kans generally accepted the best of all the later iterations. Linn Kans for those who have not heard them are explicitly detailed. Ahead of almost every speaker to have graced my household and there have been some! Rear wall placement reinforces the bottom end that some people find Kans lack somewhat. The sealed box design allows for easy placement and also results in very fast, tuneful bass. The stands are thrown in for local area pickup. Can post the speakers as they are easy to box if required. Pictures: Edited June 25, 2011 by vmhf

rantan Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Well done mate. I knew they would be snapped up fairly soonish. Cheers.
vmhf Posted June 25, 2011 Author Posted June 25, 2011 I miss them already! Did a comparison of the Linn Kans to my Harbeth P3ESR. Using a vintage Sansui amp recently purchased here. Connected to my Jungson Magic Boat SACD player. Stock power cables and interconnects. We were quite amazed by the sound the Kans were producing. Totally out of the box. More so than my Harbeths which have the undeniably meatier sound but with less detail I might add...
