I bought a new tv cabinet and this doesn’t fit
I have original receipt

Let me guess........ the cabinet is not deep enough for the plugs to fit in the back?  That's the problem I had when I bought a new cabinet. I ended up getting a jigsaw and cutting some slots out the back.

No, it’s the height that is the problem, 

the receiver it about 2mm to heigh, I considered taking the feet off but I think I could have heat problems if I did that.

i just bought a different amp instead.

Oh yeah, I had THAT problem too. I was able to remove the shelf from the central partition and now have the amp sitting on top of my blu-ray player. Not the prettiest setup but it works.  We have a door on this partition so it is not noticeable when it is closed.

 

I did all the necessary measurements but didn't consider the cables out the back and the lack of clearance on top that would reduce airflow. :rolleyes:
