Further information:

Vintage rare Akai 2800 amplifier from my collection.

This is a beast and has a lot of power and grunt.Just next down in line from the iconic 2950 this amp shares same sound signature.

Triple tone controls , filters with uv meters, wood casing..what's not to like!

This was given a full overhaul service a few weeks ago by the very recommended bloke Chris at  KIMIL ELECTRONICS. Necessary transistors/caps were replaced and bias/outputs set accordingly. This amp is back to it's glory now. Will provide receipt. ($220)

Will pack it professionally for interstate buyers with lots of heavy duty bubble wrap and 2layers of cardboard.

please note a small timber piece on top is discolored as u can see in the pic. It looks great for a 40+year old amp.

A rare opportunity to own this beast of an integrated amp from PIONEER Reference series. It was an exclusive domestic product from Japan.

Very Transparent sounding and warm signature from this Amplifier without compromising any details. True dual mono design with separate power supplies and 2x 22000uf premium sound capacitors. Recordings sound as close to the original rendering. Extremely fast and articulate with beautiful stereo separation!

With built in high end Dac chips you can easily run your digital files via optical cable,no need for an external dac!

Plenty of power to run any speakers with ease.
      Specs below.

Really nice phono stage with ample tone controls and filters for fine tuning.

This was the biggest integrated made by Pioneer and weights in at 30kgs!

The condition is quite good for its age except a few marks here and there. Pictures don't do justice as the face is gloss black and hard to photograph.

Overall the Amplifier works flawlessly with no issues. There is no static with any knobs and all work as they should.

This amp was sourced from Japan and was serviced by the previous owner a few years ago.

A 100volts  step down transformer is required to run this amp. However you can easily get one from tortech website for around 100$.
I will include a link below so you can order one from them and they post it very quickly as well.

Extremely Rare and a beast of an amp. They don't make them like this anymore.

Producing 250 watts @8 ohms per channel this can run any speakers with ease. It was running my Legacy  focus 20/20 perfectly without breaking a sweat.

Sound signature is very balanced with warm and natural midrange/treble and deep bass. It matches with almost any preamp and one could also run it standalone as it has its own variable volume and subsonic filter built in.

      Self Diagnostic Functions:

On startup Display lights indicate  operation temperature , right and left channel  checks.

Gorgeous UV Meters and real wooden lacquered  panels.
This was imported from Japan hence would require a step down transformer 100V. You can easily buy one from Tortech in Sydney for about $100 and they ship as well.

The Power amp is functioning perfectly with no issues. The overall condition is quite good considering its age.

To get something like this one would have to spend around 4k. These amps are built like tanks and weigh 30 kgs!
Huge toroidal transformer and 4x22000 uf pure audio grade capacitors.

      SHIPPING:

This will be double boxed in professional heavy duty custom boxes with layers of foam and bubble!
I have a fair bit of  experience in packing heavy electronics so rest assured it will arrive very safe.

Denon AVC-A1SE for sale. Classic Denon receiver, made in Japan and an absolute tank. 170W x 7, retailed for over $6,000 when new.
In perfect working order, only issue is the front panel doesn't quite close flush for some reason. Includes originaly remote and manuals. In addition I have a second, more conventional Denon remote that is easier for day to day use than the touchscreen remote that comes with this receiver. The back flap on this remote is loose, otherwise works perfectly.

Regrettable sale as I love this amp, but it's time for it to go. Would make a good inexpensive 2-channel amp for a beginner, or someone who wants excellent surround and isnt't fussed about HDMI. I have run this amp with a PS4 happily for a number of years. If you want Full HD audio, there are a few 4K Blu-Ray players with built in processing so you can run multi-channel out into this receiver and get modern processing with classic Denon power.

      SONY CDP338 ESD

Gorgeous high end cd player A true giant in music.

One of the best cd players ever built. Very smooth and silky sound signature. Reads all formats in seconds. Also a fabulous cd transport if needed.

It is constructed like a tank and has variable output besides fixed. Also extremely rare is the feature of controlling the volume via the remote. Extremely cool feature only on exclusive Sony cd players!

Interesting rubber cloroprene sealing part in the cd tray, that neutralizes the efect of sound waves from the close speakers to the cd pickup reader. Very smart design.

It's 240 volts so plug and play.
